Lakka is a characteristic little village by the sea, set between the blue Ionian sea and the green  expanses of olive groves. Its port is the second one of the island of Paxos, in order of importance, and is the favourite destination for tourist boats and yachts, for the uncontaminated beauty of its wonderful waters.
The traditional coloured seaside village of Lakka, with its small historical centre, is characterized by a really romantic atmosphere, with buildings revealing a clear Venetian influence, and is suitable for those in search of tranquillity, far away from mass tourism. Visitors can easily walk through the amazing narrow streets, for shopping and tasting lunch in one of the traditional taverns. Five minute walk from the west side of the village, there are two beautiful beaches surrounded by crystal clear waters, which are ideal for swimming and lying in the sun.
In Lakka visitors can also see the Lighthouse, the church of  Ypapanti also called “Ipapandi de Gesù Cristo” and the beach Plani behind the Lighthouse.
