North of Brindisi, between sea and land, the State Natural Reserve and Marine Protected Area occupies an area of over 3300 hectares. The ancient look-out tower gives its name to the coastal strip which is a fine example of protection of the natural heritage but also of sustainable use.  The controlled access to the beautiful seabed and the vegetation which are home to a diverse wildlife is conducted with initiatives of excursions, snorkeling … tourism in harmony with nature for all. The Reserve promotes the protection of agricultural production in the area and also controlled fishing, with traditional methods.
